Nooote Privacy Policy
In short:
Nooote saves your notes (photos, location, voice and other data) as locally on your devices and synchronizes them using CloudKit (depending on the configuration; you can disable it if you don't want to use it) and doesn't send any personal data (such as notes, events and reminders) back to our servers. Your Calendar and Reminders data is only displayed inside the app and not stored or sent to our servers (they are stored by macOS and iOS locally or in your iCloud on Apple's servers).
If you want to send feedback, your feedback will be securely saved to Google Firebase to serve you better with your recommendations. And all of your data will be saved to your own Apple iCloud account to synchronize your data (if you enable)
Your privacy is very important to us. Nooote is committed to respecting the privacy of its users and the visitors of this website. We reserve the right to change this policy, which we’ll do through online posting. We are very careful with what we do with your information.
The purpose of this privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”) is to inform you what personally identifiable information or personal information we may collect from you when you use our application or visit this website, how we use such information, and the choices you have regarding our use of, and your ability to review and correct, the information.
For purposes of this Privacy Policy, the terms “we,” “us” and “our” refer to Nooote “You” refers to you, as a user of the Application or visitor to the website, as applicable. How we use the information we collect
We may use the information we collect from our Application and website to: (i) provide, maintain, protect and improve the Service, (ii) provide to you and communicate with you about your use of the Application or requests, (iii) protect our or third party interests and (iv) perform any function we describe when you provide the information.
We will ask for your consent before using information for a purpose other than those that are set out in this Privacy Policy.
Personal Data
Your notes (which you create and write inside Nooote) are saved locally on your device and synchronized using across your devices using CloudKit (by Apple). Your data is not stored on our servers, nor sent to any third-party service by us (other than mentioned Apple or Dropbox, depending on your configuration). Calendar and Reminder events from your "iCalendar" or Reminders app are only displayed or created inside Nooote. The information is not sent outside of the app. The data is, however, saved on Apple's servers being an Apple technology, which might be in the U.S. If you don't want your data to be saved on Apple's server, disable iCloud (synchronization won't work). Use Of Google Analytics
Google Analytics is a web analysis service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). Google utilizes the Data collected to track and examine the use of this website, to prepare reports on its activities and share them with other Google services. Google may use the Data collected to contextualize and personalize the ads of its own advertising network. Personal Data is collected through Cookies and Usage data. Google Analytics cookies are set on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. As the operator of this website, we have a legitimate interest in the analysis of user behavior in order to optimize our website and possibly also advertising. Google's privacy policy is available at https://www.google.com/intl/en/policies/privacy/. Place of processing is the US. We are anonymizing your IP address. This works by shortening your IP address within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states. Only in rare cases the will the complete IP address be sent to a Google server and shortened within the US. You can opt-out of Google Analytics and therefore the cookie tracking either by using this browser plugin: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout or by setting an opt-out cookie, which you can do by clicking on: Google Analytics Opt-out. We use the analytics data to improve the website and to find problems with the website.

Use Of Nooote App
Data, which you save inside Nooote such as notes, calendar entries, events, appointments, todos, etc. are not saved on our servers and we have no access to this data. This data is saved as human-readable textfiles locally on your Mac or iOS device and by default synchronized with your devices using "iCloud Drive" (Apple Service), "CloudKit" (Apple Service) or "Dropbox" (depending on your configuration and if enabled). The synchronization services named may make backups of your data and sync it between your devices automatically. Any data transmitted is subject to the Apple Privacy Policy . You always have the option of disabling iCloud and iCloud Drive from the System Settings (macOS, iOS and iPadOS). Disabling iCloud Drive will also disable CloudKit.). The data will be saved locally. Through the iCloud service, your data might be stored on servers in the USA.
Updating and deleting your personal information
At any time you have the right to inquire about your personal data we store, their origin and recipient and the purpose of the data processing and a right to correct, block or delete this data. We may reject requests that are unreasonably repetitive, require disproportionate technical effort (for example, developing a new system or fundamentally changing an existing practice), risk the privacy of others, or would be extremely impractical (for instance, requests concerning information residing on backup systems).

Our Privacy Policy applies to the Application and website but excludes services that have separate privacy policies that do not incorporate this Privacy Policy.
Our Privacy Policy does not cover the information practices of other companies and organizations who advertise our Application and/or website, and who may use cookies, pixel tags, and other technologies.
